SweetValley passed away peacefully Thursday,
No
vember 19th, at his home, with his
lo
ving wife Pat at his side. Born
April 21, 1928, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elma Harris Fetterman.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Tradesman/Carpenter at the State
Correctional Institution at
Dallas.
Bill fully enjoyed his retirement years fishing and making bi-annual trips to
Canada, always
in a new
vehicle. He had a quick wit
and was lo
ved by all who knew him.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran ser
ving
during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by sisters, Velma Smith and
Lillian Fisher. Sur

ving are his wife, the former Patricia McConnell;
sons, William R. and wife, Cathie, Dallas and Ronald P., Dallas; stepchildren,
Joanne Krajk, Philadelphia, Cindy Mitchell and husband, Joe Rassmussen,

Teri Mitchell, Wellsboro, Larry Mitchell and wife, Sue, Middleburg Center, Kate
Aungst and husband, Guyle, Pine Gro

Julie Mitchell and husband, R.J., Wellsboro, Patti Coolidge and husband, Chuck,
Wellsboro; brother, Robert A. Fetterman, Wilkes-Barre; numerous grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and his faithful dog, Dutch. Funeral Ser
vices
will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home,
140 N. Main Street,

Dallas will officiate. Interment will be made
in
ChapelLawnMemorial Park,
Dallas. Friends may call Sunday from 2 p.m.
